On Sunday, 28 September, campaigners fighting to save Liverpool Women’s Hospital will take their struggle to the Labour Party Conference. The Liverpool Women’s Hospital Campaign has been at the forefront of resisting cuts, closures, and creeping privatisation of vital NHS services.
Liverpool Women’s Hospital has a history of excellence, but years of austerity and underfunding have left it under threat. Local communities, women, and health workers have made it clear: we need investment, not cuts. The campaign’s message couldn’t be more urgent: protect and expand women’s health services, don’t dismantle them.
The People’s Assembly Against Austerity stands shoulder to shoulder with this campaign. Their fight is part of the wider struggle against austerity that has devastated the NHS and public services across the country.
WE ARE CALLING ON ALL ACTIVISTS AND SUPPORTERS ATTENDING THE LABOUR CONFERENCE TO JOIN THE DEMONSTRATION OUTSIDE.
MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD: THE NHS BELONGSTO THE PEOPLE, AND TOGETHER WE CAN DEFENDIT FROM CUTS AND PRIVATISATION.
